This post will be pikkie free, as we are getting ready for our next adventure.
Well not a full running away but we are about to embark on a three week break which is all part of our contractual arrangement we have with the motel we are managing. Five weeks on and three weeks off.
Since returning from our last break, we have spent another gazillion dollars on the Retroliner and the Mopar Muscle Car.
The Retroliner has had:
New brakes and wheel bearings
Water tank moved from front of the axles to the rear
12v pump to lift water from the tank to the sink.
Straighten the crooked pop top
Power socket to the rear bumper to accommodate Al Fresco shower
Porta Potti.
Outside shower enclosure
Annex improvements
The Mopar Muscle Car;
Heat spacer and shield for Holey carb
New battery.
So now the Mopar Muscle car is up to scratch and the Retroliner has everything we need .
So Saturday 20th June we leave Kingaroy for a couple of nights at Proston Dam. Then slowly make our way north via the inland road, to Bam Bam Springs, Mundubbra, Monto, Biloela and possibly independent camping on the way. Our destination is Yeppoon at Savannah Park for a week (Just luv it there)After our week of lay'n around working on the all over tan, head back down the coast to 1770, Woodgate, then end up at Hervey bay till we head back to the salt mine mid July.
